About us
Software for the desks Indian students actually study at
SeatStow is operations software for libraries, reading rooms and study centres: the places where students rent a seat by the month and bring their own books.

Why we built it
Most study centres in India run on a register and a spreadsheet. Who sits where, which shift they come for, whose fee is due, who stopped showing up. It works until it does not, and the cost of it failing is a seat sold twice or a fee nobody chased.
The software written for this market is usually either a gym product bent into shape or a school ERP far too heavy for a twenty seat reading room. We wanted the narrow thing: seats, shifts, admissions, fees, attendance and the reports a small operator actually reads.
What it does
Allot seats across shifts and see what is free. Take an admission, issue a membership bill, record the payment, and know exactly what is still pending. Mark attendance and spot the members who have quietly stopped coming. Run a branch, or several under one organisation.
It is not a learning platform. There are no courses, no lessons, no tests and no feed. It manages the space and the money, and leaves the studying to the student.
Who it is for
Centres of roughly twenty to two hundred seats, usually run by one to three people, sometimes as a small chain of branches. The kind of place where the owner is also at the desk.
It works in English and Hindi, and runs in a browser on a phone, a tablet or a desktop. There is nothing to install and nothing to keep updated.
Where we are
SeatStow is early and under active development. We would rather say that plainly than imply a longer history than we have. Features are still being added, and the roadmap is shaped mostly by what centre owners tell us is in their way.
If you run a centre and something here is wrong or missing, that feedback is worth more to us than most things. Write to us.
